Paid subscription always defunct in their app

I’ve had a subscription for over 10 years, but have to reach out repeatedly about my issues not working in the app. It’s frustrating.

No help in restoring app for almost 2 months. Subscription renews in 2025. Missing years of magazine past 2018. This magazine should be able to hire techs who can correct this app and give their loyal customers what they pay for. Instead we get frustration in having to contact them to restore-or no help this time. No way and no need with technology today to treat your customers!

This Makes No Sense

I have had this app since 2015. For the past two years or so, I have no been able to get the most recent magazines that I’ve PAID for! I’m not sure what’s going on, but I am not the only one experiencing having difficulty accessing the content. I’ve had it for so long that I am afraid to lose all of the issues I’ve paid for! Come on, now…

Won't update

I enjoy reading my issue of Tea Time on my iPad. However, I am unable to receive the most current issue. I'm only seeing Nov/Dec 2016. Very frustrating.

Terrible app

I am NEVER able just to tap on the new magazine and download it or read it. Every time I need to contact support to fix the problem but the problem never stays fixed. It’s very annoying not to be able to read what you’ve paid for in advance. Don’t think I will renew subscription again. Very frustrating!!! If it would allow me to give zero stars I would.

Epic Fail

I buy books online all the time. This is my first experience with a periodical. I purchased a special edition of Teatime as that magazine seems to be unavailable in my area. I can see the charge pending. If this were a book, I would be reading by now. A couple hours after purchase I have nothing. My “library” is empty. Not at all impressed. Sent an email... Two days later and multiple exchanges, I’m finally in. Don’t know that I would ever purchase another digital edition.

The app switch to zinio proved to be frustrating, to say the least. However, customer service at zinio was very patient and kind and helped me get everything sorted out and made me a happy customer again. I can’t wait to get back to reading TeaTime. Thank you!

Updated review

It took a couple of weeks, but I have finally have all my magazines restored. I can now enjoy all my magazines. Thanks to the tech support team. Have had this subscription since 2013. I renewed in January and nothing, no access to my account.

Subscriber for years

I have been a tea time subscriber for years through iTunes and not had too many troubles getting and reading my TeaTime magazine however many months ago they upgraded the app and I can no longer get my purchased magazines and I had years worth of them! I have contacted support several times and received no reply- do not waste your money until the publishers can bother to care about their loyal customers and get an app that works!!

I have had my subscription for several years and now I can’t open anything.

I have been a subscriber since 2015. I can not restore my past issues or read my current subscription. It is just awful and the developer has not responded to customer inquiries.

After years of having this magazine I cannot restore ANY of my purchases. It seems like I have lost everything! Terrible update.

Terrible update

This update is awful. I switched to digital years ago and until now haven’t had an issue. This “update” is terrible. Had to contact them to finally get my issues, and then the latest special edition didn’t come through. I sent in a request and was told that I had to purchase it. I explained I already did, then the story was they aren’t allowed to sell the special editions in the app anymore, as that edition is being advertised on the top of the app with the blurb to check under the special edition tab to purchase. Then I was given a link to contact the publisher, which took me to the wrong publisher. You are losing a customer of over 7 years unless this gets fixed.

This new update has stolen years worth of my magazines

I subscribe through the iTunes app,have years worth of digital versions of the magazine and several special edition magazines. I cannot access with either my iTunes login or my ZINIO login. Both say user does not exist. I’m beyond angry!

Tea Time did you do your homework before your moved to this platform?

Wasted too much time trying to restore my issues.... I have been a loyal reader purchasing both the print copy and the digital so I can enjoy when I travel. Zinio is no good — please do something otherwise I will need to cancel my subscription. Not happy.

Too bad I cant give ZERO stats!

I went into my Tea Time app to look at the latest version on my iPhone and when I tried to log in to restore my purchases, it said "User Does Not Exist." I tried a few times, gave up and then did the sign up again. This time when I got it it shows NONE of my past Tea Time magazines! Since I paid for these, I would like them; I have about two years worth and can’t access a single one! There’s a lot to be said for paper subscriptions if this is going to be the case!

Switch to Zinio a NIGHTMARE! DO NOT SUBSCRIBE!

OMG! This magazine switched to Zinio as it’s operating system and it has been a nightmare. I’m love this magazine and I’ve been subscribing to it for years...but no more. I tried to restore my issues, which according to directions required I create a sign-in to Zinio. I did. But restore failed and failed and failed...even after I re-downloaded the app, restarted the iPad. So I went to App Support—Zinio. No chat, no phone number, nothing to contact them. FAQ gave me the same useless directions, no help at all. And worst of all...when I signed in, hoping that might allow for an online chat or to leave a message/question, the website said my password was wrong. I tried to reset it...and it wouldn’t reset. And all this time, I’m jumping through hoops because it won’t let you do anything unless you prove you’re not a robot. So. I can’t restore my magazine. I can’t get in contact with app support, and Apple can’t help me either! All I can do...is cancel my subscription. Good bye, Tea Time. I didn’t think you’d want to lose a valued subscriber; there aren’t many of us out there, but you have. This whole fiasco is disrespectful to us faithful readers. Shame on you.

Can’t open paid subscription

This app is terrible I purchased a subscription through iTunes and it never uploaded. iTunes won’t give my money back and there is no app support. Don’t waste your money!

Hot mess

I paid for an online subscription to the magazine and the website keeps crashing. I e-mailed customer service and even called and left a message. Really disappointed. This is how you lose customers.

I've cancelled my subscription due to the application failing to work and no support. I'll go back to paper copy since the digital version is unreliable but I still love the magazine.

App change

Teatime is my favorite magazine and this app was my favorite, but not any longer. What happened to my library! Hate is not strong enough for how I feel about this app. I hope you are planing to change it back, and fire the one who decided to "update" this app in the first place.

was good, now bad

In the past I enjoyed the Tea Time app. It gave me the ability to view print issues while traveling, and kept past issues in my library. Now, there is no library, my past issues are gone, and there is no way to log in. All I see are issues to be purchased. Issues that I already purchased. PLEASE fix this.

Paper copy

I am a subscriber to the paper copy of your magazine but would love it to also be available on my iPad without having to buy a separate subscription. It would be great if you would make the e-magazine available at no extra cost to your paper subscribers.

Not happy!

Download 2 back issues and they both stopped at 99%. Never went past that making them unopenable, which translates to useless. And I am out $10.00.
